Tinubu: A Bomb of Barriers Upon Himself

Leaning on one's understanding is carnality, failure, and death; the three are not different from that rigidity to unfollow the positive necessitating lie and sudden death. A part of his barriers somewhat invisible is really on the coterie of behind-the-scene politicians who ironically aid his miscellaneous distraction and his apparent failure against the heroic greatness. They have together so far formed league of rule breakers via conundrums of stupid and sheer thinking that they could get away with the national money - deconstructing the house of Broom to fall down! The law is always there - we can all discern his government has been working criminally against the nation's Economic Policy, however the companion law will not surfeit for the toddling regime - the time law. His ugly temperament making him not to consider the citizenry plights cum his selfish, deathly ambition yet permeating amidst the muffled coterie who have never confronted the inflationary period with the fuel price reductions - could concoct lies in different sectors for him to die finally as Abacha because initially he did not inform the populace right from Eagle Square that the subsidy removal policy would be to enact savings agenda for the Republic, only the solution from here pathfound the generous ingenuity for the citizenry outwitting his careless el-rufaism being oblivious of Bernard Arnault's saying: 'Money is just a consequence ... Don't worry too much about profitability. If you do your job well, the profitability will come.' The unbrilliant leaning on the military via gullible funding to evade the inflation ignoring the fuel price reductions will amount to the aftermath of foolishness. Initially he firstly and foolishly thought that would avert coup to unseat him however what will unseat him has been a preserved history that will thus be available to everyone. Devilish apparently to experience a government like this vividly working against liberty of the country. Meanwhile his jeremiads about resolving the present national challenge jettisoning the exorbitant pump prices will soon run out of time. Meaning the devil who engulfs him can never be right - most especially at this unnewfangled critical period. Jeff Bezos once warned: 'People who are right most of the time are people who change their minds often.' Vitiating his political career in his capricious manners, Tinubu has had some extemporaneous thinking that Nigerians would just be gullible financially to be deceived via the subsidy removal inept policy. The reckless policy in the el-rufaism has really been encumbered and impugned by this copious propensity. The deadbeat should realize that Nigerians were/are not destined for lie. The gadabout should, in furtherance, maintain self-control that not Nigerians' financial capital will be employed for any attenuated pleasures. Every Nigerian citizen should henceforward watch domineeringly that his insidious reluctance to be oblivious of the shameful embezzlement is not reified anyway. The saved amount, as that of Abacha - though ironically - will not rebuff a covenant of judicious spendings aforesaid: surplus education, the fuel price reductions, and bill reductions. Thereof he is not needed any longer to be warned that lack of consideration for others is deathly. Meaning we are not lethargic to govern ourselves as a people, the people who are always superior to the government in a popular reference to any practical governance. This is not hoopla howbeit a constitutional mandate to regulate, castigate, and attenuate the unsentient government rigid in dearth of positive change, in contrast, flexible to death. No a glitch in the savings for Nigerians so far, in this a fortitude of tempo enduring against his apprehended caper to deceive the citizenry financially, for he initially went about deceptive borrowings abroad - if he had been born out of his first foolishness, then he could have mentioned the subsidy removal savings as a clue for more revenue besides the excess crude account. His second foolishness has been so glaring - nominating in failure that scum from Kaduna as a minister. Third is imminent, sharing a sheer proximity with the judgementally temporal and the wacky green phenomenon. Perhaps construction of Third Niger bridge after his demise as the Second Niger bridge renovation after Abacha, who knows we need likes of them in graves ere developments! With the famous endurance discerning the citizenry are bearing Cross due to a Galilee of liberty ahead via the money saved so far. Doing this does not allow time of Nigeria's liberty be in his below-gorilla hands but now slips into the green justice that would turn the nation to heaven. Sergey Brin, a co-founder, has affirmed: 'Obviously, everyone wants to be successful.' Nigerians would appreciate that dulcet truism moreover we need truism of the strictures' manner to be successful indeed in all-felt liberty fashioned by this green true politics conduct not that his deceptive policy. What really ossifies has been this constant measure absolutely against the wanting-to-be-corrupt regime. Conclusively, his cupidity of reluctance to the fuel price reductions constructing him negatively to be beating about the bushes of funding the military, interest rate increase, and the reckless import-duty measure will only constitute him to be eradicated from the preserved, the being-preserved history of the great who never die in the pleasure of life well-spent.

Our Peace Unnegotiable

The new top-flight English domestic season starts the same way the last one ended just over two months ago - with a Manchester derby! Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City will be out for revenge as they take on fierce rivals Manchester United under the famous Wembley arch after the Red Devils ran out surprise 2-1 winners in the FA Cup final in late May. The Community Shield is the prize at stake this time, and despite their almost unprecedented success in recent years, City have struggled in this particular competition. City have won just six of their 15 Community Shield appearances, while Pep Guardiola’s men have lost the season’s curtain raiser in three successive years - no side has lost four in a row since Manchester United between 1998 and 2001! Irrespective of that, United’s overall record in the Community Shield is stellar (W21, L9), but this will mark their first participation since their first competitive match under José Mourinho back in 2016. The Red Devils have at least won each of their last four appearances at the Community Shield - a sequence that includes a 3-2 victory over City back in 2011 in what was just the second H2H in this competition (L1). Manager Erik ten Hag, who has lifted silverware in both of his two campaigns at the helm, will be hoping victory in the FA Cup final helped banish the demons of an otherwise abject 2023/24 season for United. However, a rocky pre-season (W2, L3) that saw new signing Leny Yoro and striker Rasmus Højlund sidelined for the start of the campaign suggests the Dutchman has plenty more work to do to restore optimism at Old Trafford. Players to watch: Buoyed by netting a hat-trick against Chelsea in City’s final game of pre-season, Erling Haaland will be looking to get his campaign off to a positive start against one of his favourite opponents - he’s netted six times in four league meetings against United. After missing out on selection for Euro 2024, Marcus Rashford could be set to hit the ground running against a side he’s faced a joint-career high 21 times (W7, D2, L12), scoring in six of those matches. Hot stat: Four of the last seven Community Shields were decided on penalties.

Heavyweight Footballing

Two of Europe’s heavyweight footballing nations clash once again, but this time an Olympic gold medal is up for grabs as hosts France meet Euro 2024 winners Spain with both looking to add another chapter to their illustrious histories. Theirry Henry’s French side negotiated a tricky match-up with Egypt at the semi-final stage, eventually running out 3-1 victors after extra time, to reach the final of this competition for the first time since winning it back in 1984 in Los Angeles. France have looked solid at both ends of the pitch so far, but especially in defence as they’ve conceded just once in their five matches at the tournament. All five of those outings have ended in victory too, helping them enter the final as narrow favourites with the bookmakers, a position given to them largely because of their joint-competition high of 11 goals scored at the Games. Spain are one of the other top scoring teams in the tournament though, and they’ll arrive in the final in great spirits themselves after they overcame Morocco in their semi-final showdown on Monday in Marseille. Santi Denia’s side left it late to claim a priceless 2-1 win through an 85th minute Juanlu strike, so they’ll now contest their second final in succession after losing to Brazil after extra time in heartbreaking fashion at the delayed 2020 Olympics. Unlike their opposition however, Spain have struggled defensively at times, and they’ll need to improve upon that quickly if they’re to take the gold here. Just one of their five matches during this tournament has seen them keep a clean sheet, and given that four of the five goals they’ve conceded arrived in the first half, another slow start could well be on the cards. Players to watch: France’s Jean-Philippe Mateta and Spain’s Fermín López have scored four goals each during this tournament, and will be looking to chase down Morocco’s Soufiane Rahimi for the competition’s Golden Boot award in this final. Four of their eight combined goals have come before the 25th minute!

Disobedience is temporal wastage, heroic wastage, and sudden death: no amount of reliance on the dark would remove the pristine atmosphere...
